Karen Haberberg is the Director of Photography and Digital Media at the JCC in Manhattan where she is in charge of photography programming for adults and kids, in addition to curating exhibitions, and teaching photography. She is a portrait and event photographer specializing in capturing natural moments. Her photographs have been exhibited in various New York City galleries and published in magazines and newspapers. She has photographed events for the Museum of Natural History, The United Nations, and RCN Entertainment, among others.

She holds a MA degree in Art and Photography from New York University and the International Center of Photography, as well as a MA degree in Educational Communications and Technology from New York University. Karen co-founded Media Pros, an organization designed for media professionals in New York. She received her BA from Brandeis University in 1995 where she graduated Cum Laude.

Karen lives in Manhattan with her husband Bob and daughter Maya.
