Transgender Youths

This project explored what it means for transgender young people to understand and express their identities. Created in partnership with Harvard University and Moving Pictures, the project combined intimate portraits with honest conversations about gender, identity, and the experience of being comfortable in one's own skin. My approach was intentionally personal and unobtrusive, creating space for the subjects to speak openly discussing what it feels like to be in their skin. The result was an emotional and heartfelt honest reflection and discussion of their gender choices.
