Healthcare, Rare Disease & Patient Storytelling

Below are some of the beautiful people I have photographed that struggle with a rare condition and each have a unique story to share.

Why Healthcare, Rare Disease, & Patient Storytelling Photography?

My connection to rare disease photography is both personal and professional. My brother died from Tay-Sachs disease before I was born, shaping my understanding of the impact a diagnosis can have on an entire family.

I have dedicated much of my work to photographing and interviewing children and families living with rare genetic and complex conditions, resulting in two books and campaigns for pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations.

I approach every story with empathy, patience, and respect, creating authentic imagery that goes beyond the diagnosis to reveal the person, the family, and the human story at its heart.
